I am a Filmmaker and a Cinematographer based in Northern Virginia.

My work primarily focuses on creating proximity between audience and performance.

As a Filmmaker I am particularly drawn to family narratives. Looking at the complexities of how relationships function with in that context. I also use my practice to better understand my own family.

As a Cinematographer I like the notion of the camera/audience having a seat at the table. I want my lens choices that create a sense of closeness, and my approach to lighting to create intimacy.

I like work that is emotionally challenging and that is not afraid to be intimate.

I want to make work that speaks to certain universal truths about the difficulties and challenges of life, but at the same time I fundamentally believe Life is Beautiful!
